Pros: Though VIP memberships and some types of live shows require payment, you can access Rude for free. A free membership allows you to have your own page and view profiles, videos and photos in limited amounts, usually between 5 and 20 for each type of view. You can also send comments, post on the message board, email members, add videos and photos to your favorites list, upload your own materials and add friends to your page, though all in limited numbers. You can upgrade to a VIP membership for around $25, and that comes with $5.00 worth of 'chips' which are the currency used on the site for purchasing users' items, private live cam shows, custom toons and more.

As I mentioned, Rude is much more than a porn site, and in fact, the porn here almost seems to be a side dish to the main course, the interactive community. With blogs, message boards, custom profiles, live cam shows, comments, streaming music, live webcam houses, chat rooms, a virtual world to explore and more, you can easily meet tons of like minded adults here.

There are well over 30,000 clips here, ranging from less than a minute to over half an hour. There are also thousands of pictures and stories, and even more with a VIP membership. You can watch Rude TV for free and see interviews, talk shows and just general naughtiness starring some of your favorite stars, and you might even learn a thing or two! It seemed like the longer I stayed on the site, the more stuff I found. It borders on mind-boggling.

If you find yourself spending more time at Rude and going over your viewing limits, a VIP membership is definitely the way to go. Not only will it lift your viewing limits, but it also provides free access to group and house cam shows, 5000 DVD porn flicks and more. One of the features listed for VIPs is access to '300+ sex websites,' but I wasn't able to check these out for myself, so I'm not sure if they're full sites or streaming feeds.

Cons: It can take a while to really get the hang of this large, sprawling site. The main Rude page was so over crowded and messy-looking when I logged in that I had to do a double take. It's truly staggering the number of sections and options presented in such a small space, and a bit of a clean up would make the site much more user friendly. The basic search box turns up some nice results, but with so much to see here, some advanced options are needed. I also had some questions that I was never able to find the answers for. In particular, I noticed a mention of something called \"points\" which you can get as a bonus when you buy \"chips.\" Unfortunately, I couldn't find out what points are for from the FAQ section, and my query to the support person in the live help chat went unanswered even as he or she attended to others' questions. I suspect that with over 3 million members, the site is going through some growing pains.

I would expect a considerable amount of advertising for free members, but it's there's even more than I thought. Luckily VIP memberships offer significantly fewer ads.
